Synopsis: In 1983 the police are on a manhunt for a serial killer known as the “Highway Hunter”. A beautiful young woman, traveling alone becomes lost and when she encounters a scruffy looking hitchhiker, she warily offers him a ride in exchange for directions. Their journey takes a violent, action-packed turn when they get caught up in the police manhunt. Is the hitchhiker the serial killer or does the couple have to fight for survival due to a mistaken identity.
